History

Inaugurated the 4th of june 1972, the Parc des Princes stadium was endowed with a very avant-garde architecture for this period.comfort and visibility were the key words of roger taillibert, the architect in charge of the project.
In june 1974, the paris saint germain became the resident club of this new stadium and decides to associate its image and history to the boundaries of this mythical place.

In 1990, the Paris city hall, owner of the Parc des Princes, entrust the stadium concession to the societe d'exploitation-sports-evenements (SESE), in 1999 this agreement was extended for a further 15 years.
To establish the stadium durably in its environment, the SESE, the city of paris and the main residents associations have signed a charter looking to improuve the functionning of the Parc des Princes considering its environment.

More than scheduling the PSG matches, which remains the main mission of the SESE, this entity never stops developping new skills, diversifying its know-how: organisation, coproduction, production of concerts and shows as the supercross, snow parc, antiques fairs or companies seminars.

Since the world cup in 1998, the PSG is the only master club of the stadium, with its new headquarters after an important renovation work.
